What types of therapy options are AVAILABLE for my child?
Example of Traditional Therapy
A therapy session may include an activity known as ‘training in listening’. This will help the child become aware of the sounds around him/her and they will quickly pick up that sounds have meaning. Parents and caregivers can help by being attentive to sounds around them and bring it to the child’s attentions, for example, if you hear a car honking or a dog barking say did you hear that? It was a car honking, honk honk! Or it was a dog barking, woof woof! |
